The longed-for sequel of Under the eternally blue sky. Temudjin has now been elected Khan. All around him there are emperors willing to start new wars. The Mongols live under the threat of being totally destroyed. Temudjin-Khan wants peace but the wars on the vast steppe never ends.
Thanks to his military genius and alliances with sworn enemies, Temudjin-Khan reaches a certain strength. But while being successful in the battlefield, he meets arising conflicts in his own clans and even within his own family. Cousin against cousin, brother against brother.
